Use this guide to find your correct Kinekt Suspension Stem length and rise

Do you have a threadless headset?
Kinekt Stems are specifically designed to work only with threadless headsets, providing superior performance and reliability when paired with this modern system. Threadless headsets are the standard for most newer bikes, offering improved adjustability and a more streamlined design compared to older quill-style systems.
If your bike is equipped with a quill-type headset, commonly found on vintage or traditional bikes, a direct installation of the Kinekt Stem will not be possible. To adapt your bike for compatibility, you will need to purchase a quill-to-threadless adapter. These adapters are readily available online and in most bike shops, and they allow you to convert your quill-style setup into a threadless system, making it possible to use the Kinekt Stem without replacing your bike’s headset entirely.
Before purchasing the adapter, ensure it is compatible with your bike’s handlebars and steerer tube diameter to guarantee a secure and properly fitted installation. With the adapter in place, you’ll be able to enjoy the comfort, performance, and adjustability that Kinekt Stems are known for, even on a bike with a quill-style headset.
How long is your current stem?
To choose the right Kinekt Stem, measure your current stem in millimeters from the center of the handlebar clamp to the center of the top tube clamp. Select the Kinekt Stem length closest to your measurement—options include 90mm, 105mm, and 120mm with a 7° rise, or 100mm with a 30° or 50° rise (see Step 3 for guidance).
Handlebar Compatibility: Kinekt Stems are designed for standard 31.8mm handlebars. If your bars are smaller, you’ll need a shim for proper fit, which can be purchased online.

What stem angle do you need?
Kinekt Stems are designed to suit a variety of riding styles, preferences, and bike setups, offering three distinct rise options to help you achieve your ideal riding position. Whether you’re looking for a performance-oriented posture or a more relaxed and upright stance, Kinekt has you covered.
7° Rise: Performance Position
The 7° rise is ideal for a forward-leaning, performance-focused riding posture. It’s available in three lengths:
- 90 mm
- 105 mm
- 120 mm
30° and 50° Rises: Upright Comfort
The 30° and 50° rise stems provide a more upright, relaxed position, perfect for comfortable rides and e-bikes. These are available only in one lenght:
- 100 mm
