For the Ekar groupset, Campagnolo has introduced a series of gravel-specific enhancements to its renowned Ergopower control levers, building on their already popular and ergonomic design. The fundamental structure of the system remains unchanged, preserving the hallmark precision and comfort provided by the Vari-Cushion™ hood. This ensures that even in the demanding conditions of off-road riding and racing, riders benefit from Campagnolo’s One-Lever-One-Action philosophy, which guarantees intuitive and error-free shifting. The levers themselves are differentiated to prevent any possibility of making the wrong shift, a crucial feature when navigating rough terrain.

A notable update is the redesign of Lever 3, now featuring a larger, C-shaped profile that is easily accessible with your right thumb, especially when your hands are on the tops—an area frequently used by gravel cyclists. The Ekar Ergopower levers also come with adjustable reach, allowing you to tailor the fit to your hand and finger size as well as your individual riding style. To further improve control, particularly in challenging gravel conditions, the aluminum lever blade and control surfaces have been laser-textured. This not only enhances grip in all weather but also ensures durability, as the lasered pattern resists wear from sweat, dirt, and cleaning agents, making it truly gravel-proof.

Internally, the Ultra-Shift™ mechanism manages the 13-speed rear derailleur, enabling quick upshifts of up to three sprockets in a single movement.
